Custom Designs

Sourcing Deposit: This deposit is non-refundable; this typically applies to projects where we will be sourcing stones for a client project. This fee goes towards the total balance of the completed project.

Deliverables: Included in the cost of your custom piece is the initial consultation (capped at one 60-minute in-person or two 30-minute remote sessions) with a stylist, a design mock-up, one (1) round of modifications before moving to production, and confirmation of the design via emailed CAD drawing. Once the final design is confirmed and approved in writing via email, we will proceed to production. Changes cannot be submitted beyond this point without incurring additional costs via a change order. Any requested modifications outside the approval process will be at the Client's expense.

Disclaimers: While working with heirloom material, Canossi Jewels is not responsible for stones or settings that chip, break, bend, or are damaged. The client understands that working with heirloom material is "at risk," and Canossi Jewels will not be liable for any damage that may occur during the production process. Please be mindful that it is important to add fine jewelry to homeowners, renters, or individual policy; this will protect against the loss, damage, or theft of jewelry.

Payments: Typical payment schedules for custom projects are as follows: Payment 1: Sourcing Deposit of $1500 (If applicable) Payment 2: 50-75% of the remaining balance Payment 3: Final Balance Due Before any jewelry shipment or pick up. The client is responsible for paying the outstanding/final balance within 14 business days of project completion. Clients are responsible for paying sales tax on all items purchased.

By paying the deposit, the client understands and agrees with all the terms and conditions listed on this page.

Timeline for Custom Projects: Timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed. Typically, the timeline for custom projects is 8-12 weeks but it can vary depending on sourcing availability, response times, and holiday schedules.

Return Policy: All custom projects and designs are final sales.

Ready to Ship Designs

Unless otherwise noted, unworn ready-to-ship one-of-a-kind jewelry may be exchanged within ten days of receiving the item(s) for store credit or another design, less a 15% restocking fee.

Line Collection Designs

Unless otherwise noted, unworn line-item jewelry may be exchanged within ten days of receiving the item(s) for store credit or another jewelry piece, less a 15% restocking fee.

Craftsmanship

We provide a one-year warranty on the craftsmanship of our jewelry from the date of completion. During the first year, we will repair your piece free of charge for any structural integrity flaws that could have occurred during production. This does not include damage to stones or self-inflicted damage to jewelry (accidental or not). It is your responsibility to insure your jewelry. Gemstones and diamonds are not under warranty. Canossi Jewels will return your piece insured if we repair anything. All shipping costs for any repairs will be at the client's expense. All shipments from Canossi Jewels require a signature and are fully insured.

Repairs

Canossi Jewels guarantees the structural integrity of all jewelry for one year from the purchase date. Gemstones and diamonds are not under warranty. Please be mindful that it is important to add fine jewelry to homeowners, renters, or individual policies; this will protect against the loss, damage, or theft of jewelry. Should repairs be needed, please contact info@canossijewels.com, and we will assist in providing shipping labels and instructions.

Resizing

We provide one complimentary resize per ring for our clients for gifts (when the receiver is not present for sizing). If you need further resizing, there is a fee associated with that. Please note that resizing jewelry needs to be discussed with our stylists, as we want to be mindful of the integrity of the material while resizing. Some styles do not allow for resizing.

Resizing or repairing your Canossi Jewels piece at a local jeweler voids the Canossi Jewels warranty.

Stone Sourcing

At Canossi Jewels, we only work with design-quality material sourced from a small batch of trusted global partners who adhere to our ethics and business practice standards.

Appraisals

Canossi Jewels offers appraisals through an independent appraiser. Complimentary appraisals are included for all pieces valued at $5K and up.

Insured Shipping

All shipments from Canossi Jewels are insured and require a signature for delivery. All domestic shipments are shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS. Next-day delivery is available at checkout for a fee; 2-day delivery is complimentary. Please note that the delivery speed does not reflect production speed—most designs are made to order. International pieces will be via DHL Express Worldwide (where applicable) and fully insured.

Returns/Refunds

Canossi Jewels does not offer returns or refunds on any jewelry.

Exchanges

Unless otherwise noted, unworn line-item jewelry and ready-to-ship one-of-a-kind jewelry may be exchanged within ten days of receiving the item(s) for store credit, less a 15% restocking fee. Canossi Jewels does not issue refunds for any orders. Canossi Jewels does not issue refunds, store credit, or exchanges for custom jewelry. To initiate a return, please email info@canossijewels.com. Canossi Jewels can facilitate providing an insured shipping label at our expense. Store credit will be available once the piece is returned to Canossi Jewels and inspected.
